By Air: The nearest major airport is Naples International Airport (NAP). From many international locations, you’ll likely find flights to Naples. Once at the airport, you have a few options to reach Praiano.
From Naples Airport to Praiano:
By Public Transport: You can take a bus to Sorrento from Naples Airport (curreriviaggi.it) only €10. Once you are in Sorrento you need to get the SITA bus (the regional bus service that connect Sorrento Station to the Amalfi Coast, the terminal is in Amalfi), and get off in Praiano.
By Car: Renting a car (rentalcars) at Naples Airport and driving to Praiano is a viable option in low season. The drive takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. In high season we don’t advice renting a car.
Private Transfer: You can book a private transfer which will take you directly from Naples Airport to Praiano. This is a more comfortable but expensive option. We offer discounted rates contact us here
By Train: If you’re traveling from within Italy or from nearby European countries, you can take a train to Naples or Salerno and then continue your journey by bus or a combination of train and bus to Praiano. If you are travelling in high season Apri to October the best option is to get a train to Salerno and a ferry over to Amalfi or Positano and then the SITA bus to Praiano.
